Poop... Once Again..

Remember when I posted about NAA's "Crap" campaign?
(look up my April 15th post titled "We're Pretty Good At Cleaning Up Poop... ". Blogger is acting up this morning, otherwise I would have done a linkie thingie)

Well, a fabulous poop essay got published on AoA today. I almost peed in my pants laughing so hard (oh yes, there's a juvenile leprecaun residing in my brain too)

So here's to poop. You want a helping of probiotics with that????

Not enough can be made about the poop when you have a kid on the spectrum. I used to be poop-o-phobic. Not any more.

Not.

Any.

More.

Hey Michelle -

I hear you. Ditched my poop phobia a loooooong time ago. I can now talk 'poop' with the best of 'em. Color. Shape. Consistency. Volume. Frequency. Smell. Sinker. Floater. Toxic Turd (when the boys are pushing metals). Yeasty Turd. Bacterial Turd. And so on.

In this house, the poop discussions go beyond the spectrum kiddo though. Potatey had worse poop issues than Salamander... (and Salamander's were pretty bad). But by the time Potatey's poop issues spun out of control, I was already a PP (Poop Pro), so it was, relatively speaking, easier to get Potatey's bowels back on track..

And to all those people out there that are reading this, and shaking their heads thinking 'this woman is crazy'. Well, you are right on that one. But trust me, after having gone through a combined 8+ years of poop issues (almost 6 for Salamander and over 2 years for Potatey), you'd become a tad poop obsessed too.
