NOW THIS...

BUMPING THIS UP! Age of Autism has been publishing group shots of warrior moms from all over the country.

I still very much want to do this. Any MA, RI, NH, CT gals (somewhat local.. but we can always pick a meeting point) who are game?

And lookie see (check the comments) on who offered to do the photography....

is the kind of glamour shot I'd love to do
(after I loose at least another 15 lbs, that is.. LOL)

Whatdayathink gals? Maybe at Autism One in Chicago??

Oh, and it will and it did.

Have you heard about the British mums who 'bared it all' for autism? A whole bunch of absolutely awesome chicks got together in the English countryside somewhere to have their, very tastefully done, pictures taken for a calendar to raise awereness/funds for autism. I think I saw a video somewhere of the whole photoshoot, I'll have to dig it out. These gals were totally 'it'..

Whatever it takes eh? Whatever it takes..

Hey,
This is the balls! I would do a shoot at Autism One with Dr Amy. I'd have to lose the autism 15 pounds also.

Well, if you want to assemble a pack of moms, I'll donate the photography

And one other thing about the nasty comments you got a few posts down . . . that is why I turned off anonymous posting on my own blog. You'd be surprised how people rethink their comments when they have to identify themselves.

John - you are awesome!!!! I'll work on assembling the 'mom pack' and then I'll take you up on your offer!!

Trying to figure out how to turn off the anon commenting without forcing everybody to get a google or other blog platform account... You are absolutely right, people really do mind their tongues when they don't have a mask to hide behind..

Petra,
You are adorable enough to pose for these pictures without the weight loss!
Also I am sure the photographer has Photo shop!
Go for it. You work hard and deserve a cover girl pose!

I'll be at Autism One and would love to participate. Although, I have more like an autism 100 to lose. Maybe I could hide in the back? :-)

Oh yes, Renee, I totally will be rounding up a posse at A1. So you better bring a cute outfit!!! And no hiding!! Say it loud, say it proud, I am a Warrior Mom!!!

Psst, I am actually down to only having to loose about 10 lbs..I had so fallen off the gluten free/MSG free/corn free wagon when Salamander's bout of illnesses started late last year. Then when I got so sick myself, I went GF/MSG free/corn free again.. and I started loosing weight.

Fell off the wagon again around Salamander's birthday & pounds came back on. Back on the wagon .. and weight is coming off again!!

I always knew that my boys don't get their food issues from a stranger.. and while it's easy for me to keep them on their diets, when it comes to me.. Oy...

But lesson learned..Feeling so much better (physically, mentally, emotionally) when I stay away from the bad stuff..
