Our Winding (and Sometimes Twisted) Journey to Better....
"Confessions straight from the fox hole"; our wild and wacky journey (mine and my two boys, 11 year old Salamander with Celiac's disease, metabolic dysfunction, Asperger's Syndrome and several LDs; and 6 year old Potatey with Celiac's disease and metabolic dysfunction) to "I don't know where". Perhaps the journey is a destination in itself? WARNING - my stories are definitely NOT of the schmalzy 'life with two kiddos with challenges is a Trip to Holland instead of Italy' variety..

But am I enough of a *Jewish/Italian* mother to get tremendous pleasure out of putzing around in the kitchen making tasty stuff to feed to my boys?
Yes, absolutely.
Discovered Breads by Anna (R)mixes today. Found a couple of mixes that the boys can have & ordered them to try out. Can't wait to experiment with them. Will post on the recipe blog how it all turns out.
I guess I do have some of the artistic temperament that is so strongly present in my mom & sis - they are amazing artists - and where their talents are in crafts, gardening and garden design, mine apparently are in the kitchen..
Who would have thunk eh?
