Crazy week...

It's been a crazy week - 'transitions', 'moving past' and 'moving on' kinda sums it up.

This past Wednesday, I got FIRED (as a regular employee) and RE-HIRED (as an independent contractor). Long story, but the bottom line is that I needed much more time and much more flexibility in my schedule than could reasonably be expected from any employer. I'm glad we were able to work things out this way, and I learned a few valuable lessons. Some people at the company were not exactly 'nice' during the whole process, and I'll just have to 'move past' the things that were said and done.

We also got some, not very helpful, feedback from DH's neurologist. I'll post more about that later this weekend, once I have my thoughts a little better together. But once again, we are on our own in figuring out a complicated medical situation. What is up with all these allopathic doctors? They just don't want to spend more than 10 minutes on a case, or they just don't want to take a case that can't be 'fixed' by prescribing a bunch of pills?

I am about to run off for a class. More later this weekend.
